Professional Experience
Attorney Xi Zhanpeng previously engaged in trial and enforcement work at a court for over ten years, accumulating extensive experience in these areas. He currently holds the following positions: Executive Director of Beijing Highking Law Firm; Practicum Mentor for the Law Program at Northwest University of Political Science and Law; Individual Member of the Beijing Bankruptcy Law Association; Specially Appointed Expert of the Legal Professionals Database of the China Association of Small and Medium Commercial Enterprises; Drafter of the Evaluation Standards for the Effectiveness of Enterprise Compliance Management Systems of the China Association of Small and Medium Commercial Enterprises; Co-Chair of the Non-Performing Assets Professional Committee of the Beijing Financial Services Law Research Association; Adjunct Master's Supervisor at the Law School of Capital University of Economics and Business; Vice President of the Economic and Financial Alumni Association of Northwest University of Political Science and Law.

Practice Areas
Mr. Xi's main practice areas include civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, corporate mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, banking and finance, and other legal matters. During his tenure as  Director of the court's adjudication department, he has concluded thousands of cases and adjudicated more than 300 execution disputes. He is familiar with the theoretical and practical processes of execution. After practicing as an attorney, Mr. Xi served as the legal advisor to many large enterprises, providing full legal services for daily management and project development, and solving financing problems for many real estate development projects and large enterprise technical reform projects, by finding business partners and entrusting loans.
In addition, Mr. Xi has completed a number of corporate restructuring, mergers, property rights transfers, foreign contracts, leasing and other projects, and participated in the disposal of asset management company debt to equity, debt packaging, case litigation, and the application, transfer and disposal of mining rights (including prospecting rights, mining rights) and other related work.

Mr. Xi has served as judge for more than ten years, and has rich experience in litigation and compulsory enforcement. During the time as senior judge, he took lead in handling and deciding hundreds of compulsory enforcement cases. He is therefore very familiar with the process of compulsory enforcement.
Mr. Xi has served as external legal consultant for several large enterprises, providing services as regards to daily operation and project development of the enterprises. He helped solve financing problem for many real-estate developments projects and technic development projects by introducing business partners and entrusted loans.
In addition to the above practice, Mr. Xi also took lead in completing several restructurings, merger, assets transfer and leasing projects. He also actively advised clients in dealing with convertible debt projects of asset management company, debt packaging and litigation. Mr. Xi was actively involved in application, transfer and deposition of mineral rights.
