Professional Experience

Attorney Zhanpeng Xi has over ten years of experience in judicial trial and enforcement work. During this period, he participated in several major research projects of the Supreme People’s Court and published dozens of articles. He currently serves as the Managing Partner of Beijing Haiqin Law Firm.

Attorney  Xi specializes in providing comprehensive solutions for complex legal issues faced by enterprises. He has provided legal services to multiple central state-owned enterprises, financial institutions, and industry-leading companies, resolving debt scales exceeding 100 billion yuan. Cases handled by him have been recognized as "National Top Ten Typical Cases." Additionally, he serves as a postgraduate supervisor at two university law schools and has been repeatedly listed in international authoritative legal rankings such as Chambers, The Legal 500, LEGALBAND, and The A-List of China Business Law Journal, where he is highly recommended in the fields of bankruptcy reorganization and dispute resolution.

Mr. Xi has served as judge for more than ten years, and has rich experience in litigation and compulsory enforcement. During the time as senior judge, he took lead in handling and deciding hundreds of compulsory enforcement cases. He is therefore very familiar with the process of compulsory enforcement.
Mr. Xi has served as external legal consultant for several large enterprises, providing services as regards to daily operation and project development of the enterprises. He helped solve financing problem for many real-estate developments projects and technic development projects by introducing business partners and entrusted loans.
In addition to the above practice, Mr. Xi also took lead in completing several restructurings, merger, assets transfer and leasing projects. He also actively advised clients in dealing with convertible debt projects of asset management company, debt packaging and litigation. Mr. Xi was actively involved in application, transfer and deposition of mineral rights.
